Who this is for

Three households. One standard.

Plans are matched against how you actually use care and what you can tolerate on price, not a carrier's default recommendation.

What's included

Three coverage lanes.

Each household or team lands in one lane, sometimes two. Fixed-indemnity wraps major medical; it never replaces it.

When a group plan makes sense.

Group coverage generally fits once there are two or more W-2 employees. Sole proprietors and 1099-only setups are usually better served individually. Your agent walks the actual roster before recommending either.

    About the practice

Who do you source coverage for?
Under-65 individuals, families, and small-business groups of 2 to 50. ACA marketplace, off-marketplace, small-group, and fixed-indemnity designs are sourced through state-licensed agents.
    Do you handle Medicare plans?
No. The practice focuses on under-65 coverage. Medicare-eligible households are referred to specialist partners.
Are you a carrier or a broker?
Neither. The practice sources coverage through state-licensed agents.
Will the same agent handle my renewal?
Yes. Continuity of ownership is the operating standard of every practice line, including health.

    Plans and enrollment

Do you handle subsidies and APTC?
Yes. Marketplace plans are walked through with subsidy capture handled, including reconciliation against your actual tax filing at year-end. Estimate income carefully: excess advance credits are repaid at tax time.
    When can I enroll?
    • ACA marketplace: November 1 through January 15. Enroll by December 15 for January 1 coverage.
    • Employer groups: annual renewal on the carrier anniversary.
    • Qualifying life events: a 60-day special enrollment window.
    • Off-cycle situations are handled on the call.
    Is there a medical questionnaire?
Some carriers and plan tiers require one. Your agent walks the requirements on the call before enrollment.
    How does cost-sharing work?
Premium is the monthly bill. The deductible is what you pay before the carrier shares costs. Copays are flat fees per visit, and coinsurance is your percentage after the deductible, up to the out-of-pocket maximum. Section 125 cafeteria plans let group employees pay premiums pre-tax.
    What are the cancellation terms?
Carrier contracts are month-to-month, with no long-term commitment to the agent. Individual plans close on 30-day carrier notice. Group plans close at renewal or on termination, with COBRA administration handed off cleanly.
